Las Tejedoras does not sell, transfer, offer, distribute, or in any other way release your personal, electronic, or financial information to any third party without your express permission.
We will only use such information when directed by you to do so, in order to complete an agreed upon payment to Las Tejedoras. A written request to engage our services followed by a form of payment (certified check, money order, or Paypal.com payment) is considered "express permission" to release such information solely for the purpose of processing the agreed-upon payment.
Should you subscribe to a site maintenance plan, you agree to allow Las Tejedoras to create, alter, or upload the contracted information on the Internet.
Las Tejedoras does not collect e-mail addresses for purposes of spamming, phishing, or any other unethical use. We will only use your e-mail address for legitimate business concerns at your request. By sending any electronic transmission to the domain http://tejedoras.net, you are giving us permission to communicate with you via e-mail.
If at any time you no longer wish to communicate with us, say so clearly and we will be happy to comply. We have neither the time nor the interest to contact those parties not in an established business relationship with us, or not expressing an explicit interest in developing such a business relationship with Las Tejedoras Web Design.
Hosting, domain names, and e-commerce accounts
This privacy policy does not carry over to any outside organization you contract with for design, hosting, domain name registration, merchant gateways, merchant accounts, or e-commerce accounts. Any transaction you make with any outside organization (beyond the domain http://tejedoras.net) is strictly between yourself and that outside organization. Please review any outside organization's privacy policy.
While we have thoroughly investigated our affiliate programs and they do currently meet high privacy standards, we make no warranty that, due to circumstances beyond our control, their privacy policies or practices will remain within the strict standards we use to choose such affiliates. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to review such policies and practices and determine their acceptability.
You are responsible for any agreement you make with any outside organization.
Hackers, spammers, and phishers
Las Tejedoras is strictly a Web design company, and as such, has no control over the servers you use to host your site. Should any party compromise the security of your site, you must resolve the issue with your site's host, merchant gateway, or e-commerce company and not with Las Tejedoras.
We strongly recommend that you use SSL technology in hosting your site, but make no guarantee that such technology and security measures are immune to malicious programmers or programs.
While we have thoroughly investigated our affiliate programs, we make no warranty that, due to circumstances beyond our control, their site security will remain within the strict standards we use to choose such affiliates.
Any compromise of your published site, its information, or any other security issue will be resolved between yourself and the hosting, merchant gateway, or e-commerce organization you have contracted with.
Resolution of privacy or security issues
Should your privacy or security be compromised, it is your responsibility to pursue any investigation or legal action against the individual(s) or organizations you believe have been party to such an act. You may not bring a claim against Las Tejedoras Web Design for the actions of other parties outside of our control. Any actions involving Las Tejedoras Web Design are subject to the laws of the state of California or the Federal (US) District Court in San Francisco, California for international claims.
Legal notice: Design services only are contracted with Las Tejedoras Web Design. Any contracted agreement with affiliate programs (Paypal, Google, etc.) is strictly between yourself and that program or its parent company.
